Chemical peeling is a technique used to improve the appearance of the skin. A chemical solution is applied to the skin which causes it to peel off, and allows new skin to regenerate. The new skin is smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin, and may also be more even in color. Today, with our increasing interest in rejuvenating skin and slowing the effects of the aging process, chemical peeling has emerged as an exciting anti-aging procedure.

Our peels are gently formulated to help reduce the depth of surface lines, smooth rough skin textures, treat skin discoloration and redness, and assist in clearing acneic/blemished skin without the downtime.

To ensure your safety and satisfaction, we offer a free detailed consultation prior to our actual chemical peel treatments. Since not all skin has the same personality, we have created customized result oriented treatments as listed below. Each different type of service is designed for different skin color, type, condition, and desired results. The right treatment for you will be discussed in detail after your thorough skin analysis.

Results are more visible with continual treatments every 2 weeks, or a combination with other treatment. Peeling is a continuous process and not just a "one-time-event". A general recommendation is 6-8 treatments.

Pure Acid Peels:

SALICYLIC ACID PEEL
For: Acne or breakout-prone skin, Oily Skin, heavy dead skins build up.

GLYCOLIC PEEL
For skin rejuvenation, anti-aging, retexturization, evening skin tone, and oily acne skin.
Best use for normal to combination and/or aging skin.

LACTIC PEEL
For dry and/or aging skin, treating age spots, and decreasing fines lines and wrinkles. Lactic has the same properties as Glycolic Acids yet less harsh and more moisturizing than Glycolic acid peels.

PREPARING THE SKIN BEFORE YOUR FIRST PEEL
Two weeks before the peel, it is best to begin preparing your skin by cleansing it twice a day with a glycolic based cleanser, applying a special moisturizer or cream once or twice a day, and using sunscreen every day. In some cases, daily use of retinol,and glycolic solution leave-on mask, is also recommended and may speed healing. This skin care regimen will help the skin peel more evenly, speed healing after the peel, and may reduce the chance of infection and other complications, especially uneven color changes in the skin.
